Romantic city, chic city...

I prefer walking to my class although it takes 30 to 40 minutes. If I take the commuter (Metro), I can reach my school in 15-20 minutes. Metro ticket in Paris is a flat rate of 1.60 Euro, immaterial of how many stations you travel as long as it's within the same zone. But walking the streets of Paris is one of the best things to do as an outsider. I prefer to enjoy the view instead of transferring through the dark tunnels from train to train. Lucky thing, there is more than one route to my class, so I get to explore different nooks of Paris everyday.


Yeah, purple is the most favourite colour this summer, and Converse sneakers is Parisian favourite. I bought this purple bermudas at the Galleries La Fayette, just a few blocks from the Place Vendome Ritz Hotel, where Princess Diana spent her last evening before she died.


This is one of my favourite flower shops. They change the deco of the shop facade everyday, and I just had to stop by this shop to take the fresh smell aaa~~~~.

One of my favourite areas... Actually, this is a small park... Now I can agreed why Paris is the most romantic city in the world!



With a few of my classmates crossing the streets of Champs Elysees... we went to book our bicycle excursion after class yesterday. We were to make a cycling trip to the grounds of Versailles! Soldes!

It's summer Soldes in Paris now! Soldes in French means SALE!!!
It's really crazy to shop in Paris during its soldes season! I almost fainted! LOL


I was on my way to a Metro station en route shopping when I noticed this beautiful view of the Eiffel tower, in between two buildings...





And this summer, I've noticed a splurge of purple! Purple is the most 'in' color in Paris now! I will upload more Paris purple sightings in a future entry.
